M.A.D Skincare’s chemical peels are formulated to be layered to treat multiple skin concerns in one treatment. Try layering this Environmental Renewal Peel with the Radiant Brightening Peel to treat environmental damage, dullness & hyperpigmentation.
Treatment Protocol Steps:
SKIN CONCERN: Ideal for rough, dry and/or under nourished skin, fatigued skin, fine lines and wrinkles. Perfect, for those aged 25 to 50.
DIRECTIONS: Cleanse face with appropriate cleanser, apply toner to prep skin for best results. Apply Environmental Renewal peel evenly coating desired area keeping away from eyes and nostrils. Wait approximately 3 minutes then repeat application to the desired number of layers. (1-3 layers for a light peel) (4-6 layers for medium peel effect) Once applied wait 1 to 3 minutes then begin removal with tepid water rinsing the entire area several times to make sure all of the peel is removed. Follow with a Neutralizer solution if desired. Follow with Redness Rescue, a desired moisturizer and a sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher.
WARNINGS: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation or rash or rash develops discontinue use and rinse with water. If irritation persists consult a physician. If swallowed get medical help or contact a poison control center immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Do not over exfoliate use this no more than twice weekly.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Lactic Acid - This alpha-hydroxy acid ,derived from fermented milk, has been used in skincare for centuries as a source of skin smoothing and skin softening and also as a vehicle for exfoliation in higher concentrations. It can improve skin texture and increase hydration and has become an essential ingredient due to it's mild skin enhancing effects. Lactic acid can improve the skin's appearance by one of two ways; either by offering moisturization for dry mature skin or by helping to exfoliate dead skin cells and increasing the rate of cell turnover. It can help stimulate collagen production, act as an astringent, and help rid the skin of impurities. It can also help with photo-aging and sun-damaged skin thereby improving skin texture, radiance, and luminosity.
Multi Fruit Acids - A potent combination of naturally occurring fruit acids which help to gently exfoliate cells and rejuvenate dull tired skin.
